This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on evpn.com and in EVPN applications. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

1. Current position

EVPN’s current website application does not set analytics, advertising, affiliate-attribution or cross-site tracking cookies. It does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity or a third-party advertising or mobile-attribution SDK.

EVPN does not use a cookie or advertising identifier to select or measure commercial placements. Because EVPN’s own website code does not currently set a non-essential cookie, EVPN does not display a cookie-consent banner.

Hosting, content-delivery and security infrastructure may process ordinary request metadata and may set a strictly necessary, short-lived cookie or similar token when needed for security, load balancing, abuse prevention or session integrity. Such a token is not used by EVPN for advertising or behavioural analytics.

The website and applications perform some limited processing without placing a tracking file in your browser:

  • The website may read browser and device capability information to render an appropriate layout or highlight a relevant platform. EVPN does not save that choice as an advertising profile.
  • The contact form uses a salted hash derived from the source IP address for approximately 10 minutes to enforce a server-side rate limit. It is not stored in your browser and is not used for marketing.
  • First-party placement measurement uses campaign-level event data and short-lived, non-user de-duplication values. It does not use a cookie, installation identifier or advertising identifier.
  • An EVPN commercial link may first use a random redirect token in the URL. That token normally expires after one hour and resolves only to static campaign-level affiliate parameters.

The EVPN iOS application stores functional state on the device—such as selected location, privacy-disclosure version, application appearance, installation identifier and cryptographic keys—but these are application settings and credentials, not browser cookies. Their use is described in the Privacy Policy.

3. External websites

When you follow a commercial placement or another external link, the destination website may set its own cookies or use similar technologies. That processing is controlled by the destination operator and is governed by its cookie and privacy notices, not this policy.

EVPN’s campaign parameters are static at campaign level. EVPN does not add a per-user, per-device, per-installation, per-session or per-tunnel value to the external URL.

4. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking a strictly necessary security cookie, if one is used by infrastructure protecting evpn.com, may prevent part of the website from working correctly.

If EVPN introduces a non-essential cookie or similar browser storage, we will update this policy and provide a consent choice before use where applicable law requires it. A future platform client is covered by this policy when released, and any platform-specific tracking or storage practice will be disclosed before it is enabled.
